Gaetano Antoniazzi

There he adopted a circular branded motif with initials and a cross that had originated with G.B. Ceruti and passed down through the family — a small but telling sign of the direct lineage he claimed. By 1900, Gaetano's sons, Riccardo and Romeo, together with their own pupil Leandro Bisiach, had gone on to transform Milan into the centre of the modern Italian violin trade, effectively refounding a school that Cremona's own long "dark years" (from G.B.
