Carlo Guadagnini (1748-1817), 'Il Carlo of Turin', son and pupil of Carlo I and later student and collaborator of Giovanni Battista Guadagnini. His outline is squarer than Giovanni Battista's, the corners shorter, the mounting robust; varnish in orange-brown or golden-brown. Dated Turin 1814, he is one of the founders of the Turin school's golden age.
