E. & L. Milarski of Hamburg – one of the most important instrument workshops of the region, active from about the 1880s to the 1930s, also trading and restoring under the name 'Nachfolger'. This violin, dated 1932, follows the German-Austrian tradition: sound workmanship and a warm, rounded tone.
